Overview
Astimal runs as an installed app on the device. Once you have signed in, the day's data stays readable, and anything you do while the connection is down is stored in an encrypted queue on the device and uploaded automatically as soon as you are back online.
What you get
- Read today's data: patients, visits, payments, instalments, prices
- An encrypted on-device queue that uploads itself
- Register a patient, a visit or a payment while offline
- Direct sync between clinic devices on the same network, with prior consent
How it works
- 1
Before the drop
The app keeps a local copy of the data you work with daily — visits, patient files, payments and instalments, clinic settings and price lists.
- 2
While offline
You carry on: open the visit, chart the exam, take a payment, open and close the session, add an expense, register a new patient or visit. Each action is stored encrypted on your device.
- 3
When the connection returns
The queue uploads in order, automatically. Anything the server rejects is shown to you with its reason instead of disappearing silently.
Where we are honest about the limits
Offline mode needs a previous sign-in on the same device, and covers data loaded before the drop — a patient whose file you have never opened will not be available. Some areas (full reports, the supplier and lab portals) need a connection.
Why clinics care
- The working day does not stop with a weak connection
- No re-typing once you are back online
- Full visibility: what synced, what was rejected, and why
