Overview
Your clinic's data is backed up automatically every day at system level — the database together with scanned patient files and clinic images — into a password-protected archive, with a daily health check on the backups.
What you get
- Automatic daily backup at 3am
- Covers the database, scanned patient files and clinic images
- The archive is password-protected
- A daily health check flags a backup that falls behind
How it works
- 1
A daily copy
A scheduled task takes a copy every day at 03:00 Cairo time, with no action from you.
- 2
Tiered retention
Every backup is kept for the first 7 days, then daily for 14 days, weekly for 4 weeks, monthly for 3 months, and yearly for one year.
- 3
Continuous monitoring
A daily check confirms the latest backup is no older than two days and that storage is within limits; the operations team sees the status on its dashboard.
Where we are honest about the limits
Backups are managed at system level, not from inside the clinic account: there is currently no self-service button to download your own copy, and restore requests go through support. If you want a copy of a record in your hands, you can export a patient file to print or PDF from inside the system.
Why clinics care
- Protection from data loss with no extra work for you
- Scanned patient files are protected exactly like the database
- Restoring to an earlier point in time is possible
